The Story of This Place
We're grateful for the chance to share a place that has meant so much to our family and to welcome old friends and new into the experience we call the Understory.
The Event
Throughout the day you'll find workshops, casual hangout spaces, the Forest Art Walk, and plenty of opportunities to wander, discover, or simply settle in. Some experiences are planned, others happen on their own. By evening, everyone finds their way back to the stage as the music begins beneath the canopy.

Music
Music is at the heart of the Understory. Throughout the evening you'll hear performances by local musicians, discover original artwork created just for the festival, gather around the campfire, and dance beneath the stars.
Activities
The Understory offers a mix of guided activities and unstructured time. Learn a new skill, wander the Forest Art Walk, explore the woods, or simply find a place to sit with a good conversation. Join as much or as little as you'd like.
